Frequently asked questions about our services
What can I expect from my first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know you. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. There's no pressure and we move at your pace.
How long are sessions and how often will we meet?
Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Most clients start with weekly appointments, but we can adjust the frequency based on your needs, schedule, and progress.
Do you offer online therapy sessions?
Yes, we offer secure online sessions for those who prefer the convenience of therapy from home. Virtual sessions are just as effective and allow for greater flexibility.
Is everything I share kept confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything discussed remains private, with very few legal exceptions which we'll explain clearly at the start of our work together.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy can help. You don't need to be in crisis. Many people seek therapy for personal growth and self improvement.
